| Flower Facts: Rock Rose is a rather small family of plants known for its beautiful shrubs, vastly covered by flowers at the time of blossom. They prefer dry and sunny habitats and grow well in poor soil, which is why they are often grown in rock gardens and can be found in rocky areas growing in the wild. They often have showy yellow, pink or white flowers, which are generally short-lived. The flowers usually have five petals.
